Aster is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you, and it never leaves your device.

Data we collect

None. Aster has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. The app makes no network requests involving your data. Everything you record — symptoms, pain levels, cycle information, medications, notes — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device.

Health data

Your symptom and cycle logs are yours alone. They are protected by your device's encryption, and optionally by Face ID or passcode lock within the app. We (Gradatim Pty Ltd) cannot see, access, or recover your data — we do not have it.

Reports you export

When you generate a doctor report, the PDF is created on your device. Sharing it (by email, print, AirDrop, or any other method) is entirely under your control, and happens through Apple's standard share mechanism.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive no personal or payment information from Apple about you. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes all of your data permanently. There is no copy anywhere else.

Children

Aster is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Aster works with your data, we will update this page and the app's App Store listing before the change takes effect.
